378.8 million users globally access AI technology in 2025. That means 3.9% of the world's population is actively using AI tools in their day-to-day lives. If we include those who indirectly use artificial intelligence, the figure jumps to nearly 90% of the world's population.

Behavioral Insights of LLM Users in The United States

  • Hispanic (66%) and Black (57%) adults use large language models (LLMs) more than White adults (47%).
  • Most LLM users (51%) use them mainly for personal or informal learning. Only 24% mainly use them for work.

82% of companies globally are either using or exploring the use of artificial intelligence in 2025. There are 334 million companies worldwide, meaning over 282 million companies are using or exploring AI in at least one of their business operations.

How many people use AI daily in the US

27% of Americans are actively using AI every day. That roughly accounts for 90 million Americans accessing artificial intelligence tools several times in a day. Another 28% said that they use AI several times a week.

44% of Americans revealed that they interact with AI technology less often.

Machine learning engineers are the most frequent users of AI with 56.2% of them using the technology every day. 45.1% of data scientists also use the technology every day.

36.5% of front end developers and web designers use AI every day on average.
