Soundraw operates on a subscription model with monthly and annual billing options. The annual plan is structured as a 12-month commitment billed in monthly installments at a discounted rate, not as a single upfront charge. Cancelling an annual plan stops future billing but does not void the remaining monthly installments for that commitment period.
For monthly subscribers, Soundraw does not issue refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. Your subscription access continues until the end of the paid period. If you cancel within one week of subscribing and have not downloaded any tracks, you can contact Soundraw support to request a refund, though this is not guaranteed by a published policy.
The perpetual license on downloaded tracks is a meaningful exception: music you downloaded while subscribed retains its license indefinitely after cancellation, so your existing projects are not affected when you cancel. The exception is Lo-Fi and meditation content published under Artist plans, which requires an active subscription to remain published and loses its license if you cancel.
To cancel, go to your Account page and manage your subscription from there. For billing disputes or refund requests, contact support via the chat icon on the Soundraw website.

Soundraw is an AI-powered music generator that makes creating original music simple, even if you're not a musician. Founded in 2020, Soundraw emerged with the goal of making music generation easy. It removes the complexities of music licensing and production.
You can easily generate unique royalty-free music tailored to your specific needs. The platform offers a wide array of customizable features, allowing you to adjust the song's mood, genre, tempo, and instrumentation to perfectly match your creative vision. Soundraw has experienced significant growth, attracting a diverse community of users, from YouTubers and podcasters to filmmakers and businesses.
Just like Soundraw uses AI to create music, Krisp employs AI to improve the clarity of your voice during online meetings. Krisp acts as an AI assistant, eliminating background noise and even converting accents for clearer communication. On the other hand, Rev AI focuses on transcription and captioning. It's been trained on one of the most diverse collections of voices.
You can find both Krisp coupon codes and Rev AI promo codes on GrabOn, helping you save on these valuable AI-powered audio tools! We also have various deals on AI tools you can check out.
The right pick depends on whether you need production-ready instrumentals, fully composed orchestral music, or complete songs with vocals. Soundraw is the strongest choice for US podcasters, indie filmmakers, and content creators who need high-quality instrumental background music with a clean copyright model, fast customisation, and a perpetual license.
AIVA is the better fit if you need compositionally structured orchestral or cinematic scores. It allows MIDI export and DAW-level editing, making it the go-to for composers working in film and game scoring.
Suno is the right tool if you want AI-generated complete songs with vocals and lyrics, not instrumentals, though its copyright history with major labels is worth understanding before using it commercially.

Yes, all music created with Soundraw is royalty-free. Soundraw's AI is trained exclusively on music created by its in-house producers, not on scraped third-party recordings, so every generated track carries a worldwide perpetual commercial license. You do not pay additional royalties for using the music in your projects, and the license is yours to keep even after you cancel your subscription.
Yes. Soundraw lets you generate and preview limited tracks at no cost with no time limit in the free mode. The restriction is on downloading, not on access: you cannot download tracks without a paid subscription. The free mode gives you full access to the music generator, including all genre, mood, tempo, and length controls, which is enough to evaluate whether the platform fits your workflow before paying. To download and use tracks commercially, the Creator plan is the entry-level paid option.
Yes. The Creator plan explicitly covers YouTube videos, including monetised channels, live streams, and sponsored content. Soundraw's music is registered with YouTube Content ID, which means you may occasionally receive an automated copyright claim on your video. This is normal and does not mean your use is unlicensed. You can dispute the claim by providing your Soundraw subscription details, and the claim will be released once your license is verified. Soundraw provides documentation to support these disputes through your account settings.
Yes, and both are well-supported use cases. Podcast intros, outros, episode background music, and scene transitions are all covered under the Creator plan with no additional licensing required. For indie film and video projects, the Creator plan covers background scoring, title sequences, and TV or broadcast use. The license is perpetual, so your finished film retains its music clearance even if you cancel your subscription after delivering the project. If you want to release the score as a standalone soundtrack album on streaming platforms, you would need an Artist plan and must modify the tracks so they sound clearly different from the downloaded originals.
Yes, but only on an Artist plan and only if you modify the tracks before distributing them. You cannot upload a Soundraw track as downloaded to a streaming platform. You must add your own vocals, instrumentation, or a remix that makes the final song sound clearly different from the original. Once modified, you retain 100% of the master recording royalties, and you can distribute via Soundraw's built-in distribution feature (which charges a 10% royalty fee) or through a third-party distributor of your choice. The Creator plan does not include streaming distribution rights.
WAV files and individual stems are available on the Artist Pro and Artist Unlimited plans only. The Creator plan and Artist Starter plan provide MP3 downloads only. Stems let you isolate individual track elements such as drums, bass, melody, and FX for use in a DAW, which is useful for US producers who want to build on the AI-generated foundation with their own recorded elements. If professional-quality DAW editing or stem-based production is part of your workflow, Artist Pro is the minimum required plan.
